Things to do before school ends

Nothing to do? No need to worry, we got you covered.

All good things must come to an end. So, whether you’re having the time of your life, or wishing that the Bellevue School District decided to not start the school day at all next year, this school year is coming to an end. However, it’s not too late to cross off a couple items from your high school bucket list. In case you’re having trouble coming up with things to do, here are just a few suggestions to end your year with a bang.

  • Wear a speedo to a water polo game.
  • Park up front during the school day and bribe the tow truck driver as he loads your car onto his truck bed.
  • Get twenty absences excused for ‘religious reasons.’
  • Attend an assembly.
  • Enter a long term relationship with someone who’s attending a different college.
  • Pester Silas Chu to get featured on the Humans of Bellevue High School Facebook page.
  • Make a pilgrimage to Shangri-La (a.k.a. the bathroom in the basement next to the weight room).
  • Skip periods 1-6 to go scuba diving in the Pacific Ocean and make it back by 7th period.
  • Pay all fees and fines from coins dug out from the bottoms of backpacks.
  • Ask out the person you’ve been quietly stalking on Instagram who sits two seats diagonally ahead of you in your history class.
  • Venture into Casa D’s when Chipotle is experiencing ‘technical difficulties.’
  • Watch a BHS drama production (actually, though- they’re really quite good).
  • Graduate.
